Last night we met a guy from a remote station who knew some colleagues of Selwyn's, then we arrived at the camp ground to meet a group of people who went to school with Selwyn's mum and were taught by Selwyn's late grandfather, then this morning we had breakfast with a unicycler who knew a friend we had Christmas with and finally on the summit of Mt Pureora we meet another colleague who turns out to be related by marriage. New Zealand!
Heading deep into the forest for the next few days and loving the bird life and serenity. The summit of Mt Pureora provides views over the Waikato and King Country as far as the eye can see. Take a trip and either hike or mountain bike the timber trail if you are able, its a pretty awesome hidden treasure. 1/3 of the country done...2/3 to go. Bring it on.
